Dr. Jean David Caillou\u00ebt, PGVIM Chair of the Master of Music program, participated as a keynote speaker at the \u201cSALIKSIK-MUSIKA II\u201d Graduate Studies International Forum held from 25 – 27 June 2025, at the University of the Philippines Visayas, Philippines. He presented on the theme of sound as a storyteller\u2014conveying memories and connecting diverse cultures through his work that integrates poetry, film, folk music, environmental sound recording, and electroacoustic experimentation. His creative process links historical concepts with contemporary works, inviting listeners to reflect on the influence of sound on identity and human ways of life in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
