PYO Strings Camp: Youth Power<\/strong>, held as part of the PYO 13th Concert Season<\/strong>, was organized to develop young musicians in the field of string performance through an intensive learning experience that combined rehearsals, knowledge exchange, and public concert performances. The camp took place from 1\u20136 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During 1\u20133 March<\/strong>, the program focused on internal camp activities aimed at strengthening the musical skills of participants. These included tutti rehearsals<\/strong> and sectional rehearsals<\/strong>, guided by faculty members and a team of professional coaches. The camp also featured a Music & Movement activity, allowing young musicians to relax and engage their bodies through movement synchronized with rhythm and sound. This creative activity helped enhance participants\u2019 understanding of rhythm, listening skills, and musical communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond developing instrumental technique, the camp served as a valuable learning environment that encouraged the growth of leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and mutual respect among ensemble members<\/strong>\u2014essential skills not only in music-making but also in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following several days of preparation, the young musicians brought their newly gained experience and knowledge to the stage through a series of public concerts held between 4\u20136 March<\/strong> in Bangkok<\/strong> and Songkhla<\/strong>, sharing the vibrant energy of the new generation of musicians with audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concert program featured works by both Thai and international composers<\/strong>, including Voice of Thailand<\/em> by Aphudom Kasemsathitsathaphorn<\/strong>, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, K.525<\/em> by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart<\/strong>, and Holberg Suite, Op. 40<\/em> by Edvard Grieg<\/strong>. These pieces offered participants the opportunity to explore diverse musical styles, refine ensemble playing, and develop interpretative skills within a string orchestra setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
