The Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra, known as \u201cPYO,\u201d has been established with the vision to promote and develop young talented Thai musicians in the skill of orchestral playing since 2013. Selected from hundreds of applicants from universities and schools throughout Bangkok, 62 of the finest players are now embarking on a musical exploration in our concert season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From our philosophy \u201cPYO Experiences \u2013 Explore, Exchange, Excel\u201d, we aspire to support our young talents in pursuit of musical excellence. Our orchestral training program will allow them to gain experience in the art of orchestral playing while meeting friends and colleagues who share the same passion for music making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra\u2019s vision for developing a new generation of musicians towards an international standard, PYO has invited internationally recognised conductors and tutors with expertise and professional experience. Our selection of programs for the concert season focuses on enhancing personal performance skills as well as orchestral playing skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the PYO, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music aims to expand our community of music lovers to the general audience, starting with our young members reaching out to family and friends.
