Chaimongkol Wiriyasatjaporn holds a Master\u2019s degree in Music Theory from the College of Music, Rangsit University, where he was awarded a music talent scholarship. He graduated in 2019 and joined Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music in the same year as an educator for the Master of Music program, playing a key role in its inaugural academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His musical journey began in childhood as a clarinetist in his school\u2019s marching band. He continued playing throughout his high school years at Triam Udom Suksa School. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration at Thammasat University, he expanded his musical experience by joining the TU Symphony Orchestra and learning the cello under Asst. Prof. Touchaphong Srisuwan and later Asst. Prof. Apichai Liamthong. He also served as the club\u2019s president for two consecutive academic years (2007\u20132008).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After graduation, he initially worked as human resource development officer at the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand and later at Italian-Thai Development PCL. Despite his corporate career, he remained active in music, performing as a cellist with Siam Sinfonietta and Siam Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2012, he fully transitioned into the music industry, joining the Bangkok Opera Foundation as a Graphic Designer and Orchestra Librarian. He held this position for seven years, during which National Artist Somtow Sucharitkul encouraged him to further his studies in music. In 2018, with the support of fellow harpists Pasatorn Stienithi and Pansa Soontornrattanarak, he began learning the harp with Rear Admiral Dharawadee Kanothai and later earned an ABRSM Grade 5 in Pedal Harp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, Chaimongkol serves as an Education Officer (Level 4) at PGVIM, overseeing the Master of Music program.
