\/>\n<p><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This study aims to study the consistency between the roles of Thai musical instruments and the personality of Thai musicians. Using qualitative research methodology. Data were collected from a document study and interviews with three experts in Thai music. The study identified the Master of Pi phat, Master strung, and Master of drum. Using purposive sampling. Qualitative data were analyzed using a typological analysis to group words or sentences with similar meanings into the same data set. These include Thai musical instruments and the personalities of Thai musicians are related in terms of the role of the instruments within the ensemble and the identity of the musicians. Each type of instrument reflects different personalities. This presents information on the relationship between the personalities of musicians who play specific instruments and summarizes the common personality traits shared by musicians who play the same
