Abstract<\/td>

This research project originates from a personal attempt to understand the psychological complexity within the self. It investigates how inner experiences, and unconscious emotional states can be explored and expressed through performative practice. In a fast-paced modern society where emotional needs are often neglected, the researcher develops a creative performance using Lieder (art songs) by Franz Schubert as a medium to embody and communicate internal realities.<\/p>

The work draws on Carl Jung\u2019s theory of the unconscious, the Shadow, and individuation; Johann Wolfgang von Goethe\u2019s philosophy of self-search and meaning-making and the symbolic emotional depth in Schubert\u2019s music. These theoretical frameworks are synthesized into a creative methodology. The selected songs are reinterpreted through vocal expression, body movement, dream imagery, and symbolic staging to explore fragmented identities and the integration of the self.<\/p>

Rather than seeking fixed meanings, this project embraces transformation, vulnerability, and raw emotional truth. The researcher aims to create a space for reflection for both performers and audience and hopes that this process invites a return to one\u2019s inner world through artistic experience.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
