The 14th SEADOM Congress, hosted by the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, centered on the theme “Empowering Music in Society: Celebrating Diversity, Connecting Communities.” It brought together music leaders, educators, artists, scholars, and students from Southeast Asia and beyond to explore how music can empower individuals and foster inclusive societies.

The congress featured keynote lectures, panel discussions, and breakout sessions covering key issues such as ASEAN soft power, cross-cultural communication, and youth inspiration through music. Experts shared insights on music education trends, institutional development, and strategies for supporting artists and promoting music’s role in society.
Cultural performances highlighted Southeast Asia’s musical diversity, offering a platform for student and professional artists to share heritage and creativity, while fostering intercultural dialogue.
