PGVIM master’s students were invited by the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, to participate in the 4th “Belt and Road” Music Education Alliance Conference, held from 18–23 October 2025 in Beijing and Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
This journey marked another significant step for Thai students on the international stage. The PGVIM students presented a contemporary chamber work entitled “Spiritual Beliefs along the Mekong River” for Khaen, Saxophone, and Acoustic Guitar — a composition that beautifully connects the spiritual beliefs and cultural roots of the Mekong River region with modern musical expression.

Their performance received high praise at the concert “Echo From the Old Times”: Silk Road Chamber Music Works of Chinese and Foreign Young Composers, being recognized for its strong artistic identity and powerful representation of Thai musical culture.
The delegation was accompanied and guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anothai Nitibhon, Acting President of PGVIM, and Mr. Kee Yong Chong, Visiting Professor at the School of Music.
