On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM), in collaboration with the Department of Fine Arts Orchestra, hosted a special concert titled “น้อมอาศิรวาท พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง” The performance was dedicated to honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday on 12 August at Sangita Vadhana Hall, PGVIM.
The performance was conducted by Dr. Vanich Potavanich, Silpathorn Artist, and featured an oboe solo by Chanannat Meenanan, Principal Oboist of the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and faculty member at PGVIM.
PGVIM students had the invaluable opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians — an experience that allowed them to learn from a real concert setting and further refine their musical skills through close collaboration with leading experts in the field.
