On September 3, 2025, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM) was thrilled to welcome the world-renowned trombone quartet Slide Monsters, bringing together four legendary artists — Joseph Alessi, Marshall Gilkes, Eijiro Nakagawa, and Brandt Attema — for an unforgettable day of music, learning, and inspiration.

The event began with an intensive 2.5-hour masterclass, offering students a rare opportunity to learn directly from world-class trombonists. Through in-depth lectures, live performance demonstrations, musical communication exercises, and exchanges of international experiences, the session not only enhanced students’ practical performance skills but also inspired new perspectives and creative motivation for their future musical journeys.
