PGVIM), through its Division of Academic Service to Society, brought together a team of expert faculty members to present a classical music performance that enhanced the aesthetic atmosphere of the 23rd Anniversary Celebration, marking the Bank’s transition into its 24th year, of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank).The event was held at SME Bank Tower, Phahonyothin Road, and was honored by the presence of more than 300 distinguished guests, including senior executives, representatives from government agencies, and business partners.

Connecting music with the business sector and society on this important occasion, SME D Bank organized the event under the vision “Developing Together, Empowering Capital” to support Thai entrepreneurs. The Bank also announced encouraging initiatives, including a reduction in interest rates and the launch of new loan products aimed at stimulating economic growth.
In this celebratory setting, the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music contributed to the occasion by presenting a classical music duet performance (piano and flute), adding artistic elegance and cultural value to the event.
The performance was led by Ms. Usa Napawan (piano) and Mr. Sethapong Janyarayachon (flute), distinguished faculty members of the Institute. A refined selection of royal compositions and accessible classical repertoire was performed throughout the morning ceremony, gracefully accompanying the proceedings and leaving a lasting impression while enhancing the event with an atmosphere of elegance and warmth.

In addition to the musical performance,PGVIM also organized a mini exhibition booth to communicate its mission and showcase its work to business leaders and senior executives. The booth featured introductory video presentations of academic programs, highlights of activities by the Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra (PYO), and the distribution of informational brochures, presenting the Institute’s role in nurturing high-quality music professionals for society.
The Institute’s participation in this event was highly successful and received excellent feedback from the organizing committee and distinguished guests, who praised the musical performance for its beauty and its contribution to enhancing the overall image of the occasion. This outcome reflects the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music’s strong commitment to bringing musical knowledge and artistry to the public, while fostering meaningful collaboration with external organizations in line with its mission of sustainable academic service to society.
