the performance “Music as Inspiration: The Creative Power of Participatory Processes for the Public” was presented under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suppabhorn Suwanpakdee and Dr. Pongthep Jitduangprem. The project aimed to showcase the outcomes of a creative research process that meaningfully connects music with local communities through deep participatory engagement.

This special performance brought together young musicians from the Bang Yi Khan community and the three southernmost provinces of Thailand, including the Yala City Municipality Youth Orchestra, Wat Suwannakorn School, and SungaiKolok School. Together, they performed original compositions developed through the research process—works that reflect the unique identities, voices, and stories of their communities through the expressive power of music.
