Foreword

“ทุนมนุษย์” มนุษย์มีทุนทางวัฒนธรรมในตัวบุคคลโดยปรากฏในชีวิตโดยต้องใช้เวลาในการเข้าใจในวัฒนธรรม โดยจะทำให้เกิดความซาบซึ้งผ่านบริบทของเวลา ชุมชนและสังคม (Amartya Sen, 1999) การหยิบยื่นโอกาสให้กับเยาวชนได้มีโอกาสเข้าถึงทักษะการบรรเลงดนตรีและการประพันธ์เพลงผ่านกิจกรรมดนตรีสร้างสรรค์อย่างมีส่วนร่วมจะสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของวัฒนธรรมชุมชน จะทำให้เยาวชนพัฒนาสุนทรียภาพทางความคิดสร้างสรรค์ผ่านกระบวนการทำงานดนตรีสร้างสรรค์อย่างมีส่วนร่วมโดยจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาศักยภาพมนุษย์​ 

โครงการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ออกแบบกิจกรรมดนตรีสร้างสรรค์และจัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านการบรรเลงดนตรีให้แก่เยาวชนในพื้นที่บางยี่ขัน ผ่านการศึกษาบริบททางสังคม ความเปลี่ยนแปลงของวัฒนธรรมชุมชน และ 2) สร้างสรรค์ผลงานประพันธ์ดนตรีและการนำเสนอผลงานดนตรีสร้างสรรค์ผ่านการทำงานร่วมกับชุมชน โดยมีระเบียบวิธีวิจัย 10 ขั้นตอนที่สำคัญตามลำดับ ดังต่อไปนี้ 1) การทบทวนวรรณกรรมในด้านดนตรีกับการพัฒนาศักยภาพมนุษย์ 2) การลงภาคสนามในด้านข้อมูลและประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่นของชุมชนเป้าหมาย ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่ 3) การออกแบบกิจกรรมทางดนตรีให้สอดคล้องกับบริบททางสังคมในด้านการการปฏิบัติดนตรี 4) การประพันธ์เพลงอย่างมีส่วนร่วม (Community Collaborative Composition) ให้กับเยาวชนดนตรีที่ผ่าน 5) การคัดเลือกให้เข้าอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ โดยนำเสนอผลงานในการ 6) เสวนาและการนำเสนอผลงานในงาน “บางยี่ขัน: ชุมชน ดนตรี ชีวิต” บรรเลงโดยเยาวชนบางยี่ขัน โดยผลลัพธ์นี้จะนำไปสู่กระบวนวิธี 7) วิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์ผลลัพธ์ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ โดยสามารถ 8) ถอดบทเรียน และนำเสนอในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ อาทิ 9) เว็บไซต์และการประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติ  และ 10) สรุปผลการศึกษา

ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาเครื่องมือทางดนตรีเพื่อเพิ่มคุณค่า จากการเรียนรู้เรื่องราวของชุมชน การกระตุ้นการรับรู้ทางด้านองค์ประกอบทางดนตรีผ่านการปฏิบัติเครื่องดนตรีและการประพันธ์เพลงอย่างมีส่วนร่วมจากเรื่องราวของประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่นในชุมชนเป้าหมายคือ ชุมชนในแขวงบางยี่ขัน เขตบางพลัด ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ชุมชนวัดพระยาศิริไอยสวรรค์ ชุมชนวัดดาวดึงษาราม และชุมชนบ้านปูน โดยเยาวชนในพื้นที่ดังกล่าวเป็นประชากรในชุมชนที่ศึกษาอยู่โรงเรียนของรัฐสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร โรงเรียนวัดพระยาศิริไอยสวรรค์ โรงเรียนวัดคฤหบดี และโรงเรียนบางยี่ขันวิทยาคม จากการคัดเลือกเยาวชนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 

การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 18 ครั้ง โดยการปฏิบัติดนตรีในเครื่องมือ ไวโอลิน วิโอลา เชลโล อูคูเลเล่ คีย์บอร์ด และขับร้อง โดยคำนึงถึงพื้นฐานทางการบรรเลงเครื่องดนตรีและการขับร้อง เช่น ท่าทางการจับเครื่องดนตรี ทักษะการใช้มือซ้ายและขวาในแต่ละเครื่องดนตรี การผลิตเสียง และการบรรเลงเป็นวงดนตรี  รวมถึงกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องเช่น กิจกรรมเข้าจังหวะและระดับเสียง ในด้านการประพันธ์ดนตรีอย่างมีส่วนร่วมผ่านกระบวนการเรียนรู้สำรวจชุมชน โดยมีผลลัพธ์จากการประพันธ์เพลงจำนวน 10 บทเพลงร้องหลากหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ แร๊บ บอสซาโนวา พ๊อบ กึ่งลูกทุ่ง ฟังก์ ฯ 

ผลลัพธ์จากการดำเนินงาน พบว่า การศึกษาในครั้งนี้เป็นการทำงานดนตรีอย่างมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชน ทำให้เห็นถึงพัฒนาการในด้านทักษะทางดนตรี ทักษะทางสังคม ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และความเข้าอกเข้าใจชุมชนมากขึ้น แสดงให้เห็นถึงดนตรีสามารถเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการพัฒนาศักยภาพมนุษย์และความเป็นอยู่ร่วมกันของคนในชุมชนและสังคมได้เป็นอย่างดี 

Human capital is the cultural value inherent to humans that takes time to understand. According to Amartya Sen (1999), the community and society benefit from this value. To help children develop creative potential and understand cultural identity, provide opportunities to learn musical skills through participatory creative musical activities. This can foster aesthetic creativity and help them reach their full potential. 

The objectives of the research are twofold. The first is to design innovative music activities and arrange music workshops for children residing in the Bang Yi Khan area. This will be accomplished by studying the changes in social context within the community culture. The second is to create musical compositions and publicly showcase the creative musical works resulting from participation.

The methodology involves a comprehensive 10-step process that aims to positively impact the community by utilising music for human development. Each step is designed to build upon the previous one, starting with a literature review of music and human development, followed by fieldwork in local history. The goal is to design musical activities consistent with the social context of music practice and to compose songs with participation. The project will audition children who will participate and ultimately present their work as a showcase entitled “Bang Yi Khan: Community, Music, Life”, performed by Bang Yi Khan Children’s Symphony. The project results will be analysed and synthesised to extract valuable lessons that can be shown on websites and at national conferences. Finally, a summary of the findings will aid in further community development. 

Three target communities are in Bang Yi Khan, Bangkok, as follows: Wat Phraya Siri Aiya Sawan, Wat Dao Duengsaram, and Baan Poon. The participating children are residents in those communities who study at Wat Phraya Siri Aiya Sawan School, Wat Khruhabadi School, and Bang Yi Khan Witthayakhom School from the selection of youth in the study area.

From September to December 2023, there were 18 workshops in which the participants learnt how to sing and play musical instruments: violin, viola, cello, ukulele, and keyboard. The workshops were divided into three phases. The first phase covered the basics of playing musical instruments and singing, such as using correct gestures to hold and play musical instruments effectively. Young participants also engaged in rhythm and related musical activities, including participating in collaborative music composition through community exploration in the second phase. Rehearsing as an ensemble was the last phase. The outcome of these workshops was the creation of 10 original songs in different styles, such as rap, bossa nova, pop, luk thung, and funk.

According to the study results, working in participatory music can help develop musical skills, social skills, creativity, and a better understanding of the community. This suggests that music can enhance human potential and overall well-being at the individual and societal levels.
