On February 17-18, 2025, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM) participated in a study visit on human research ethics, legal frameworks, technology, and research management at Lertphat Meeting Room, Research and Development Office, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Hat Yai Campus.
PGVIM extends its gratitude to Associate Professor Dr. Suphasil Maneephrat, Director of the Research and Development Office, PSU, and Assistant Professor Dr. Somchai Sriwiriyachan, Chairman of the PSU Human Research Ethics Committee, for their valuable insights on establishing a research ethics unit and fostering research integrity.
Additionally, PSU research experts facilitated discussions on key topics such as:
- Publishing in Scopus-indexed journals, presented by the editorial team of the Songklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST)
- University research management, including planning, budgeting, strategies, and research policies
- Information technology systems for research administration
This visit marks the first step toward future collaborations between PGVIM and PSU, strengthening academic and research ties between the two institutions.
