Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM) held its Orientation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026 on 20 July 2026 at Sangita Vadhana Hall, warmly welcoming new students and preparing them for the transition into higher education. The programme was designed to introduce students to the Institute’s academic environment, educational philosophy, and campus life, helping them begin their university journey with confidence.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Anothai Nitibhon, Acting President of PGVIM, who delivered the welcoming address and offered words of encouragement to the new students. In his remarks, he emphasised the importance of lifelong learning, nurturing musical excellence alongside personal growth, and developing responsible global citizens in accordance with the Institute’s vision. She also encouraged students to make the most of their time at PGVIM by embracing new experiences, expanding their knowledge, and pursuing holistic personal and artistic development.
Joining the occasion were the Institute’s executive team, the Dean of the School of Music, faculty members, staff, and senior students, all of whom extended a warm welcome to the incoming class. Through orientation activities, campus introductions, and opportunities for interaction between senior and new students, participants were able to build meaningful connections, gain valuable insights, and develop confidence as they prepared for university life.
The orientation was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the close-knit community that defines PGVIM.
