PGVIM OPEN HOUSE 2025 – The Next is, Now
On 1 November 2025, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music hosted PGVIM OPEN HOUSE 2025, welcoming prospective students and visitors to experience the warm and creative atmosphere of our “small but inspiring musical home.” The event offered an opportunity to explore the learning environment, student life, and the unique artistic journey that PGVIM fosters.

The event commenced with an opening speech by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anothai Nitibhon, Acting President of PGVIM, who warmly welcomed all guests and shared valuable insights into the essential skills required for today’s musicians. Faculty members also provided information on the institute’s curriculum, scholarship opportunities, international exchange programs, and various collaborative projects with universities and institutions both in Thailand and abroad—aimed at enriching students’ musical experiences and expanding their professional networks for the future.

Following the opening session, participants were guided on a tour of the institute, visiting practice rooms, performance spaces, and facilities that students use daily. This gave visitors a closer look into the practical learning environment that supports their artistic growth.

The event also featured a series of workshops led by PGVIM faculty members, offering hands-on musical learning experiences. Various activity booths—such as music games and a Portfolio Consulting Booth—were available to help prospective students prepare confidently for the upcoming TCAS admission process, with guidance from current students and staff.

The day concluded with captivating performances by PGVIM faculty and students, showcasing a wide variety of musical styles. These performances highlighted PGVIM’s commitment to more than just classical music—providing students with the space to explore contemporary ideas, experiment with new musical forms, and develop creative expressions that reflect the evolving landscape of the music world today.

Because at PGVIM, we believe the future doesn’t need to wait — it begins today. The Next is, Now.
