Bang Yi Khan Chorus: “Rising Voices”, held on Monday, 9 March 2026 at Sangita Vadhana Hall, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music (PGVIM), was part of the PGVIM Music for Society Showcase 2025. The event reflects the core concept of the Music for Society course at PGVIM, which encourages students to use music as a tool for engaging with communities and creating learning spaces through participatory processes.

This performance was the result of a collaboration between students from the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music and youth from the Bang Yi Khan community. Participants included students from:
- Watprayasiriaisawan School
- Watkaruhabodee School
- Mathayom Wat Dusitaram School
Youth from the three schools came together to present choral performances under the name Bang Yi Khan Chorus. The stage provided an opportunity for young voices to be expressed with meaning, reflecting the power of music as a medium that connects people within the community and brings their voices together.

This activity was not only a musical performance, but also a space where students and young participants could learn, grow, and share experiences through a collaborative creative process. Music, therefore, was not confined to the rehearsal room; it expanded its role as a powerful medium for fostering positive energy and inspiring meaningful change within society.
