PGVIM hosted a special edition seminar of Journal for Music and Interdisciplinary Practices
The PULSE Journal Seminar at PGVIM took place from March 9-11, 2025, under the theme “Resonating Across Borders: Building Bridges through Music in Southeast Asia.” This engaging event will feature notable scholars, follow Prof Dr Ramón Santos, Prof Dr Verne de la Peña, Anant Narkkong, and Asst Prof Dr Anothai Nitibhon, alongside many others, to explore and celebrate the region’s vibrant music.
The seminar focused on essential discussions regarding SEA music history, and the preservation of cultural heritage, fostering innovation in artistic practices, and enhancing cross-cultural dialogues. Participants had an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and inspire one another while deepening their understanding of how music can bridge communities.
