Institute of Music is committed to supporting its personnel through research
and creative grants, aiming to develop new bodies of knowledge and to encourage
the integration of music with other disciplines. The Institute provides a
platform for musicians, artists, and individuals with musical talent to
showcase their abilities through performances and concerts.
These activities create
opportunities for students, academics, community groups, and the general public
to engage with the field of music in various ways — including gathering and
studying musical phenomena, exploring and expanding the boundaries of music,
and posing critical questions that foster new spaces and ideas for the future
development of the musical landscape.
สถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา มีพันธกิจในสการสนับสนุนทุนบุคลากรสถาบันฯ เพื่อค้นคว้าและสร้างสรรค์งานวิจัย วิจัยสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ของบุคลากร และนำเสนอการบูรณาการศาสตร์ทางด้านดนตรีร่วมกับสาขาอื่น เปิดพื้นที่ให้กับนักดนตรี ศิลปิน และผู้มีความสามารถทางดนตรีได้แสดงศักยภาพผ่านการนำเสนอผลงานและการในรูปแบบคอนเสิร์ต
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเปิดพื้นที่ให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา นักวิชาการ กลุ่มชุมชน รวมไปถึงบุคคลทั่วไปสามารถมีส่วนร่วมกับศาสตร์ของดนตรีในหลากหลายรูปแบบ อาทิ การการรวบรวมและศึกษาสถานการณ์ของดนตรี การค้นหาและขยายขอบเขตของดนตรี รวมไปถึงการตั้งคำถาม เปิดพื้นที่และแนวคิดในการพัฒนาวงการดนตรีต่อไป
